Your yoga mat is more than just a surface — it’s your sanctuary, your support system, and a cornerstone of your practice.

To protect its longevity and maintain quality, it’s important to understand what your mat is made from and how to care for it. At Divine, every mat is created with eco-conscious design and performance in mind — free from PVC, phthalates, and toxic glues, and crafted with natural or recycled materials.

Materials We Use

Natural Tree Rubber
Sustainably harvested from rubber trees, natural rubber offers superior grip and cushioning. Biodegradable and renewable, it’s the perfect balance of performance and planet care.

Polyurethane Top Layer
Our Luna Mats combine a natural rubber base with a PU top layer for unparalleled grip and compression. Smooth, non-slip, and sweat-absorbing, they’re ideal for hot yoga and high-intensity practices.

Microfibre Suede (Eco Luxe Range)
Made from recycled plastic bottles, this innovative top layer provides soft, luxurious grip that improves as you sweat. By repurposing waste, it reduces environmental impact while enhancing your practice.

Cork Top Layer
Naturally antimicrobial and sustainably harvested without harming trees, cork delivers a firm yet comfortable surface that’s eco-friendly, hygienic, and durable.

How Our Mats Are Made

  • Non-toxic manufacturing – Always free from PVC, phthalates, and harmful glues.
  • In-house designs – Original artwork created with love and intention by our team.

Caring for Your Mat

Cleaning

  • Daily: Wipe with a damp cloth and water only — no chemicals needed.
  • Deep clean: Monthly, use warm water and a soft cloth. Avoid soaking, especially for cork.
  • Drying: Always air dry flat, out of direct sunlight.

Storage

  • Ensure the mat is completely dry before rolling.
  • Roll with the top side facing out to prevent curling.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid hot cars or direct heat.

Extra Care Tips

  • Avoid heavy oils or lotions before practice to reduce stains.
  • Marks are part of the journey — we call them love marks, signs of a dedicated practice.
  • Regular gentle cleaning and mindful storage keep your mat in optimal condition.

By caring for your yoga mat, you extend its life, protect your practice, and honour our shared commitment to sustainability.
